That is the theme for the Delano Business Association's Art in Delano event which will be held on the final Saturday of RiverFest.

Come down and browse artworks by local artists in various venues throughout Delano. Stay for the RiverFest's Final Saturday Fireworks.

I Bike Douglas
Saturday, May 22nd

The Downtown Development Corporation (DDC), the Douglas Design District (DDD) and Delano have teamed up to promote biking in Wichita.

Parts of this event will take place in Delano. The Coasters Cycle Club will have a display of vintage bikes from 1 - 4 pm at the Credit Union of America and their Thursday pub-pedal will be changed to Saturday beginning at the Shamrock at 6 p.m.

Plans are being made for the Third Annual Ghost Stories of Historic Delano Ghost Tour, which will be held on

Thursday, October 7th, 2010.

We are starting early this year so that we have time for the paranormal investigators to investigate all the buildings.

If you have a building in Delano that you believe may be haunted, contact us so that we may schedule an investigation.

Twist Yarn Shop - 607 W. Douglas - hosts a Stitch & Bitch every Thursday night from 6-8 pm. We encourage crafters of all skills (knit, crochet, cross-stitch or whatever) to come and hang out. We've got drinks (soda, coffee, tea and water) and free wireless internet. It's always a lot of fun. More...

Thursday Night Pub Pedal

Thursday nights (weather permitting), area bike enthusiasts meet at the Shamrock Lounge - 1724 W. Douglas Avenue - 7:00pm (or so). From there the group rides Eastward stopping at other establishments along the way. Anyone is welcome to ride but you must be 21 to enter most establishments. First Friday Music Crawl

First Saturday Movie Night

Final Friday Art Crawl

Final Friday is a monthly event that celebrates visual and performing arts and features new exhibits and activities each month. As the name implies, Final Friday happens the last Friday of each month. Hours vary between different galleries but most are open during core hours of 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The galleries unveil and debut new shows and the event is free and open to the public. This event is sponsored by the Downtown Development Corporation.
